Announcement of a card game on the blockchain — Chia Trading Card Game (ChiaTCG)

Chia Trading Card Game (ChiaTCG) — is an open, demo Web3 project that serves as a reference product to support the implementation among game developers and stimulate their immersion in Chia technology. It demonstrates how each of the primitive parts of Chia are combined to create the technological infrastructure of our CODE system.

Thanks to the open source code of the project, the Chia community (and those outside it!) Now he can create his own games based on NFT and demonstrate how digital ownership works in several games for creators and players. We believe that this is the next stage in the evolution of the digital economy that creators and players want.

However, we do not stop there. We offer game developers your collection of games based on Chia and Web3 TCG, demonstrating how our technology works and how it benefits players. We believe that the CODE system meets the needs of users and can become the basis for many existing online games and future video game development.

Why TCG?

Collectible Card Games (TCG) are a popular genre in the gaming world, and we chose it as our first goal to demonstrate one of the main advantages of Chia: Offers. Most TCG online games do not allow digital ownership or trading due to restrictive terms of service and usage agreements. Several NFT-based TCGs allow you to buy and sell cards, but only in centralized markets. We want to bring trading back to TCG online games with true ownership and trading between participants (P2P).

The TCG genre eliminates a key problem of interaction in games: how more complex visual elements can be used between games. Focusing on 2D graphics, standard interaction already exists through standardized formats, such as JPEG. In addition, it allows us to easily use all the existing NFTs in the Chia ecosystem for proof of concept.

How to play the game?

As a Web3 project, we wanted to offer a number of community events before releasing the game to the public. Therefore, we have the following plans for different segments of the Chia community:

• NFT Collectors: If you already have NFT Chia, you can see how strong your NFT will be in ChiaTCG using our evaluation tool (Appraiser). You can access it through the main website of the game and check your XCH or DID wallet. Alternatively, you can visit some of the most popular NFT or Chia blockchain reviewers. Collectors who have at least 6 NFT will have an open beta test available.
• Chia Community: Anyone who has a Chia wallet and DID will be able to vote for the final name of the project. Since this is a proof of concept that we will be demonstrating to real potential partners, we have considered three titles with our legal team: ChiaVerse, ChiaFrenzy and ChiaMania. Who was involved in ChiaTCG?

Although we identified the area we wanted to work in, the ChiaTCG game and ecosystem are mostly community-based, and we want to celebrate everyone’s contribution!

  • SumSet Tech – Built a proof of concept TCG (Decentralized Dominion) and provides consulting and development services to help creators apply the CODE system
  • Crew of Eight – Provided assets from their game under development
  • Heroes of Quantum – We have developed one of the first proof-of–concept games using the Chia blockchain, and plan to continue working on our project using the CODE system
  • Monkeyzoo – Create a collectible card game that will use the new NFT Chia technology to upgrade and downgrade digital assets
  • Pawket – Create a proof of concept TCG called Cats’ Castle Confrontation
  • chiaSWARM.ai – Create tools for creators to effortlessly import and generate TCG assets using a decentralized pool of GPU workers who receive payment in XCH
  • Offerpool.io – Created a poll based on Chia DID for the community to vote for the final name of ChiaTCG

But why does the game have the Chia brand?

We collaborated with Kalt Solutions to develop an open reference game and paid for the right to brand the project to ensure that ChiaTCG is available for at least 12 months for live demonstrations.

What is our release schedule?

Like all other web games with native Web3, ChiaTCG is a live community-driven project, you can receive updated news on our ChiaTCG website and actively interact with the community in Discord.
